Having voiced Tier 3 automotive commercials for over 25 years, Kevin Kilpatrick has a keen insight on what makes an EFFECTIVE Automotive voiceover. In 2024, he voiced 839 tier 3 car commercials. He also manages an automotive VO roster and produces close to a million-dollars’ worth of commercials annually.
In this workout, Kevin will demystify automotive voiceover and get to the “nuts and bolts” of an effective automotive VO. He covers different techniques that can be deployed like “The Angry Father,” “Devil-On-The-Shoulder,” “The Shatner” and others. You will also learn the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of automotive VO, the different tiers, pay rates and the different sub-genres in automotive VO.
