Mastering the Art of Acting for Video Games – Director, Stephane Cornicard SOLD OUT
Saturday, May 8, 2021
10:00am – 1:00pm
Understanding the industry and the process of creating, publishing or localizing a video game is key to understanding where, as a voice talent, you’ll fit in the grand scheme. This practical class will explore the video game’s Production Process, the audio components of the game, when and how the auditions take place and how to “ace” audition sides and book video game gigs.
A brief intro placing the audition sides into context will be followed by hands-on experience of tackling actual sides, what to expect, what to look for and what to avoid.
Getting the first video games gig often leads to repeat work from the same casting director, studio or developer, but it is vital to meet the expectations of the potential client if one does not want to end up in the “Never Never Folder” (It is no joke, every casting director has one)
